This organization is doing their part to create a better world by exposing corporations for profiteering on the backs of our fellow man. One of their newest ventures is to expose multibillion dollar American corporation, "Nike" for turning over obscene profits while paying Indonesian factory workers less then one dollar a day, while also polluting the environment. Educating For Justice is trying to put out a film next year on this very premise call "Sweat".
I'm not sure weather the film also deals with how many American jobs Nike has outsourced in their irresponsible actions based only in sheer greed. But, this is only another reason to boycott this company (Nike). In doing so you should also know, Converse has been bought up by the giant, Nike too. I know, I know, "I love Chuck Taylors too." But, check it out, according to Educating For Justice, "No Sweat Apparel" is a great anti-sweat shop company, who is responsible, who believes in paying workers a living wage, who allows worker's to unionize, and who offers a great alternative to Converse Chuck Taylors.
Educating For Justice also endorses, "Hersey Custom Shoe Company" also for sneakers. Unfortunately Educating For Justice say's "They can not at this time, fully endorse any of the major shoe companies".
-Let's all do our part to stop the greed fueled corporations from dehumanizing our fellow man for profit, by not supporting them.
